A Tale of Resilience
On the unforgiving desert planet of Mias, Melody lives on the outskirts of society. Blinded by the venom of her unborn child, she longs for the cure that will save her life, and she finds it in the form of a mysterious stranger.
Arkias, a scarred augmentor, is encouraged to offer his precious antivenom to her by his partner Bharin. The two of them are moved by the joyful spirit she wears in spite of her circumstances and offer her more than just a biological boon… they give her hope.
What started out as a simple exchange rapidly changed into something more. They present her with the opportunity to gain a home and a family. But despite the best intentions, prejudice against humans and the return of the father of her child try to tear them apart. Together, they must face the toxic shadows of her past to safeguard their newfound sanctuary.

Meet the Characters
A curvy, resilient human carrying the weight of an impossible survival on Mias, Melody’s small 5'3" frame belies a fierce stubbornness. Blinded by the venom of her unborn child and hiding her damaged eyes behind a simple black fabric, she refuses to give up on her baby, facing the planet’s harsh anti-human prejudice with playful grace, an infectious sweetness, and a quiet craving for physical warmth.
A scarred Rummian augmentor and hacker, Arkias moves with lean, muscular grace, his 6'6" height framed by bat-like ears and spotted gunmetal skin. Though carrying the deep physical and emotional trauma of the fire that claimed his clade and burned away his tactile scales, he hides an intensely devoted, romantic core beneath his analytical mind—risking everything to surrender his own vital antivenom to save Melody.
Standing as a towering, seven-foot rock of quiet strength, this thick-built Lom-Feld giant had dark red skin that hide the brutal scars of his past. Surviving with a cybernetic spine crafted by Arkias and thriving in the scorching heat of the planet’s third sun, Bharin channels his deeply protective, gentle nature into gourmet cooking and building an unshakeable haven for the family they choose.
